Book a CDCP AppointmentWhat Is the Canadian Dental Care Plan?
The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) is a federal government program that helps eligible Canadians who don’t have access to private dental insurance pay for basic dental care.
At Tinto Dentistry, we are a registered CDCP provider. Want a full breakdown of how the program works? Read our full Toronto CDCP guide here. If you qualify, you can use your federal dental benefits right here at our St. Clair West clinic with no lengthy referral process and no surprise bills.
Our multilingual team (English, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and Tagalog) is here to make your visit as comfortable as possible, and we handle all CDCP billing directly with the government on your behalf.
Book Your CDCP VisitGovernment-Funded
The CDCP is funded by the Government of Canada to make dental care more accessible for Canadians without private coverage.
Registered Provider
Tinto Dentistry is a registered CDCP provider. We handle billing directly with the government. No paperwork for you.
No Balance Billing
Unlike some practices, we never charge above what the CDCP covers. What the plan pays is what you pay.
Are You Eligible for the CDCP?
You may qualify for the Canadian Dental Care Plan if you meet the following criteria:
- You do not have access to private dental insurance
- Your adjusted family net income is under $90,000/year
- You are a Canadian resident who has filed a tax return
- You are enrolled through Sun Life (the federal plan administrator)
Not sure if you qualify? Bring your CDCP member card to your appointment, or call us and we’ll help you check.
